PROVISION OF HIGHER EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE STUDENTS OF BALOCHISTAN & FATA-PHASE-II
Applications are being accepted from outstanding students from Balochistan and former FATA who intend to pursue postgraduate studies (MS/MPhil program) at HEC-recognized Local Universities/Degree Awarding Institutions (DAI). Scholarships are offered for the 2022-23 academic year in all areas of study/disciplines under the “Providing Higher Education Opportunities for Balochistan and FATA Students (Phase-II)”, Package-V.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a local/permanent residency certificate from Balochistan Province/former FATA.
Applicants must have completed 16 years of education with at least 60% grades.
The maximum age is 35 years old on the Closing Date.
Applicants must have obtained the required academic qualifications on or before the closing date.
Applicants who are already on any other HEC/government fellowship are NOT eligible to apply.
Applicants will need to meet HEC and University criteria for admission to the MS/MPhil programs.
Scholarships Will Cover
Tuition and other fees (including hostel fees) are not more than Rs. 60,000 per semester/year.
A living wage of Rs. 10,000 per month with an annual increase of 10,000 rubles. 500 for 2 years.
Accounting at Rs. 6000 per year.

Initial settlement reserve of Rs. 10,000, one time.
Important Note
Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and county/agency quotas.
Applicants will be selected based on

The distribution ratio of scholarships for students in Balochistan and FATA is 50:50.
Students already enrolled in any MS/MPhil program may also apply.

Applicants are required to pay a deposit/bank cheque/bank transfer/postal order of Rs 1000/- (non-refundable) as an application processing fee to Habib Bank Limited, account number 1742 7900 1334 01, account name: Account Code Higher Education Commission Branch: 1742.
The original bank deposit record/receipt must be uploaded with the online application and must be kept in a safe place by the applicant for submission to the test center (no one will be able to take the exam without presenting the original bank deposit receipt). ).
The applicant must submit an online application after completing the application form. Saved and incomplete applications will not be considered in any respect.
HEC reserves the right to delay or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without giving reasons.
