Islamabad Metropolitan Police is accepting applications from eligible candidates for drivers, technicians, and other vacancies over the age of 56 under the Islamabad Safe City project. To be eligible to apply for the position of Islamabad Police Driver and Technician, all interested candidates must pass the Abitur and obtain a Diploma or DAE. Qualified candidates must apply before 6th December 2022 through the Islamabad Police Careers Portal. Incomplete, late or handwritten submissions/entries will not be considered. Applicants must submit online applications only through the ICT Police website www.Islamabadpolice.gov.pk within
10 days from the date of publication of this announcement.
Applications by hand or received via messaging/e-mail will not be accepted/received.
Applicants are expected to provide correct information. Providing knowingly false information will be prosecuted under article 420/468/471 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with imprisonment for up to seven years.
Applicants must provide an affidavit stating that they are not involved in any criminal case or activity. In the event of false testimony, applicants will be disqualified from running for the police in the future, and legal action will also be initiated.
The character and academic background of the selected candidates will be tested. In the event of any false/false information or criminal convictions, the selection will be immediately withdrawn/canceled and candidates will be terminated/suspended from services (if determined after employment) and
proceedings will also be initiated against you.
Only selected candidates who meet the required criteria will be invited to the test/interview.
Government officials should submit the request through the appropriate channels.
No TA/DA will be allowed to take the skills test or interview.
